JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Exam Dates Announced by NTA
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam schedule on March 10, 2025. As per the notification, the second session of JEE Main April 2025 will be conducted across major cities in India and 15 international locations.
JEE Main April 2025 Exam Dates and Shifts
The JEE Main Session 2 exam dates are scheduled from April 02 to April 09, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two shifts daily:
- Morning shift: 09:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
- Afternoon shift: 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM
Similar to Session 1, the JEE Main April 2025 Exam will consist of two papers:
- Paper 1: For B.E./B.Tech courses
- Paper 2: For B.Arch & B.Planning courses
Paper 2 Timing: April 09, 2025, 09:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Increased Participation in JEE Main 2025 Session 2
The number of students appearing for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 has significantly increased. For JEE Main Session 1, 13.35 lakh candidates registered. However, for JEE Main Session 2, an additional 2.6 lakh students have enrolled, bringing the total number of participants to 16 lakh.

Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech):
- April 02, April 03, April 04, and April 08, 2025 (Afternoon shift: 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM)
Paper 2 (B.Arch & B.Planning):
- April 09, 2025 (Morning shift: 09:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
